When i start "Live TV" i get this message: "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

I use a WinTV-Card with the software recorder-plugin

What i try:
-disable all plugins
-changing my graphiccard settings (not very much, i've got a TNT)
-test it with the "recorder test"-tool (it works with the tool)
-using other drivers

Can someone help me?

Try switching from 'VMR9 Custom' to VMR9.

Also make sure you have an MPEG2 decoder installed.

I am getting the same error. I have it set to overlay manager and I have cyberlink, intervideo, and nero and it seems to do it on all three. Here is the error from my log file:

10/24/2006 1:41:19 PM.734 ERROR [1] Error: msg=0x202 (WM_LBUTTONUP) hwnd=0x30120 wparam=0x0 lparam=0x17900d0 result=0x0 : System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Any ideas?

Zip and attach your logs and I'll take a look.

here you go. It weird..I get it right away when I click on live tv. But if I go to the TV Guide and click on a program it will give me a screen showing snow and then if I try to change channels it gives me the error.
