I tried recording something with Ctrl-K, and it told me this:
Quote:Error: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary:
'{x=0,y=0,width:150 height:45}' Key being added: '{x=0...
That's in a little window, and it has an ok button I can press.

What's the cause of this? Can anyone help? I was able to record in my previous installation when I had the community skin installed. (Now using advisor).

Thank you

If its in the TV Guide screen, you could try doing an Empty EPG followed by an Update EPG, then check if the problem has gone away.

Thanks Sub, no, it's not in the TV Guide screen it's while I'm watching live TV. When I pressed it in another skin, it gave me some options to record until the end of the show etc.
Now this error comes up. I'm attaching my log file, thank you!

I just solved it by overwriting the advisor skin with the original installation, while in the default blue skin. I now get a record button as well, in the osd, which I didn't before. I don't know what it was, but now it works great.

Btw, since you're availabe, in the log file, there's a whole bunch of

...
Should I worry about this?

With this, I just finally configured and personalised my GB-PVR. And again I'd like to say thank you for a wonderful program to you and the other developers Smile Smile

No, you dont need to worry about that. The message will be gone in the next release.

I figured out that what was causing it was a couple of older themes like TransAM which were for v. 2.5... I deleted them and all is ok.

Btw, why is there such a huge download problem in the 2.8 website?
Also, I think the original idea of having .zip instead of .exe files for themes is a lot better... e.g. I get firewall issues with .exe files that I have to override before I can download...and then again it doesn't work because of the server problems.. but anyway, after loads of tries I managed to download the ones I wanted so I'm happy now Smile

A couple of the newer themes that are on the approved list for the newer version of gbpvr are having the same effect as this on when you push the record button...

Not to worried about it as I just changed back to the blue skin and it works fine... hummmm..Big Grin
