commercial skipping software

Can gbpvr record commercail free programs ?

GBPVR records whatever is encoded by the capture card, including commercials. There are other third party programs such as comskip that can process the resulting video files and mark the commercials so that when they are played back by GBPVR, they can be automatically skipped.
