Hi and Happy New Year,

I have Show Analyzer (SA) set to "Run during recording, instead of after recording" on the Processing tab of Config. When recording an analog channel (i.e. a .mpg file is being produced) SA starts as soon as the show starts - as it should. However, when I record a digital channel (i.e. a .ts file is being produced) SA does not start. I am using TS Mux as the BDA Multiplexer.

Is there a setting somewhere that I need to make/adjust? Is this a bug?

Thanks in advance.

Does Show Analyzer understand .ts files, or maybe it cant handle this file type while its still growing? I dont really know very much about Show Analyzer. I'm pretty sure GB-PVR will be running it, but its probably stopping immediately.

Yes, it does. I can post-process them without a problem.

I don't know.

Is there a way for me to check if GB-PVR is running it and then stopping?

Edit: I did a quick experiment using Windows Task Master, I don't see SA start on a .ts file, but I do see it start with a .mpg file.

If you post the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log, we should be able to tell.

Log is attached. I tried recording two shows, Mobsters at 10:56 (a digital channel) and Rachel Ray at 10:57 (an analog channel). SA started on Rachel but not on Mobsters.

I do see something odd in the log. It looks like GBPVR is trying to record Mobsters with a .mpg extension, not a .ts extension. Maybe GBPVR is telling SA to look for xxxxx.mpg, while xxxxx.ts is actually being created. Just a thought.

I can see what is happening in the code.Comskip was running for .mpg/.dvr-ms/.ts files. Show Analyzer was only running on .mpg/.dvr-ms.

There is a fairly easy work around though. Just create a ParallelProcessing.bat file, and have it run "ShowAnalyzer.exe %1".
