Hi,

I'm running GB-PVR v0.98.13b and have had this running for approximately one week on a Pentium4 2GHz PC without any problems. Anyway, due to the fact that this PC is needed for general use other than for running GB-PVR I've installed GB-PVR v0.98.13b onto another PC and configured similarly.

Can anyone advise why Programs scheduled for recording haven't recorded Sad.
EPG data seems to be correct and programs that were scheduled for recording are showing as 'pending' under the Manage Recordings Tab in the web-interface.

Logs are attached.

Thank you Smile.

If you look in the directory, is a file created?

Hi Sub,

Thank you for your reply. No, there weren't any files created. Programs that were scheduled to record this evening have recorded alright as far as I'm aware however several that were scheduled for recording yesterday did not. They were showing as 'pending' under the Manage Recordings Tab in the web-interface however are now showing as 'failed'. Any ideas why this might've happened?.

Thank you Smile.

No, I dont know why this might of happened. Probably one of the devices suffered brown trowsers error (shit itself), and brought down the rest of the recording service with it. The behaviour you described where the recordings were listed as pending, then after restarting recording service they all switch to failed, is what happens if the recording service wasnt running (or I guess if it had virtually died)

If it resurfaces then I'll take another look.

Hi Sub,

Thank you for your reply. Never heard of brown trousers error. That's a good way to explain things that'd gone wrong with the recording service (you made me smile with that comment Wink ).

How does the recording service restart as I'd not shut-down GB-PVR and re-started (or does the recording service restart once new program schedules have been added for recording)?.

Thank you Smile.

I've got the same problem. If you check your recording status you might find what I describe here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ng+restart

Let me know if you get anywhere with this.
