As it stands, GBPVR has some problems extracting a complete EPG from a live broadcast. I know Sub is working on the issue but it's been with us for a while now.

I've found a solution - at least for the time being. It's a program called DVBGuide which has just been announced on The Green Button. It reads the live stream and produces an XMLTV standard EPG that GBPVR can read. I now have a complete EPG!

You can find out more about DVBGuide at http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/154336.aspx. The software comes with a short but useful manual.

The author would appreciate hearing more about how well it works outside the UK.

Sub, he appears willing to share technology - could be helpful.

I'll have a play with that as well, but now I'm using the RadioTimes guide I find that good enough for now.
I'm a little confused by your statement on the other site about using MCE and GBPVR so that you can use both analogue and digital in the same box. I'm using a PVR150 for Analaogue aerial stuff plus Sky and a Kworld USB thing for digital (soon to be replaced with a twin tuner PCI card) and it works fine for simultaneous analogue and digital.

Ah, but I prefer to use MCE as my main media centre software. Unfortunately I've not been able to find a way to persuade it to work with both an analogue cable box and digital FreeView in the UK.
