Date not shown when playing music

How can i setup ML2-Panel to display date, when music is played? Tried to play a bit with settings in ML2Panel.xml, but only succeeded to don't display the date at all. Didn't succeed to setup ML2Panel to display the date when music is played. Mainly would like to use it on main-menu.

sorry, you can't ML2Panel is just a really basic music viewer that i wrote, and when there is no music I had to find something else to show.

So you would prefer it to show the date as well at the track playing, or do you want to be able to turn the track part of it off??

just played around a bit. enabling weather panel, news ticker, ... and ml2-panel. just wanted to make sure, that i don't miss how to configure it right.
i'm quite satisfied with my main-menu now and i even can live with no date during music thx for the answer and keep up the good work!

i want to be able to show both at once.

another possibility to do that would be to:
- only show music info in ML2panel (trackname, album, artist, duration, queuetimes,...); never show date and time within ML2panel.
- show date and time with clock-panel instead.

The video archive panel will show date, time and the now playing track, if any.

true. and i'm using va-panel for screensaver. but for main-menu panel i personally like the style and implementation of ML2panel much more.
