I sometimes have a problem where when I tune into a channel, GB tells me for a while that there's no signal and then in a small while the picture pops up.
In live TV this isn't an issue at all, I'll just wait a few seconds but when this happens in a recording I end up with two files, the original at 5.73 kB and one ending with -1, containing the actual recording.
Now this isn't a biggie either but GB still refers to the original in the Recordings screen and I have to play the recording through Video Library. Also, if set to analyze during recording, GB calls ShowAnalyzer to analyze the original file which contains nothing and this causes SA to hog up the entire CPU.
I've already set BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord to true and I think it might have helped somewhat but the problem isn't gone.
There's also BDAPsiScanStartupSeconds and BDAPsiScanWaitSeconds. What exactly do these do? Could tinkering with them improve the situation?
