Hello, I use gbpvr since 1 year now.
We have experience some "frame dropping" since a couple of week (99.05 update).
I have a dedicate DELL PC, connect with 2 PVR 150 to 2 setup box.
I use only 2 MediaMVP to control GBPVR. I dont use the PC for access GBPVR (as client).
The problem look like a "fast forward" during a couple of second (Sometime 1 minute). The problem is in the mpg file because when I use a mpg viewer (PowerDVD, VLC) the problem is there too (at the same place...)
The problem is not in all recording, and could be there 1, 2, 3 time in the same recording.
I could not find why?
I thing that the CPU is to busy when the problem occur, but the only software is GBPVR with 2 MVP server.
2 of my friends have exactly the same setup (same DELL, same PVR 150, same USB-UIRT, ... ), and they have the problem since the version 98.?? (no problem with 97.??)
But the problem appear at different time and different frequency.
Does somebody have same kind of problem?
Maybe the problem is with the MVP server, because I try to remove the MVP server for a week an no recording have problem during this time.
Maybe we can thing that the problem is there when 2 recording is done at the same time (because hard disk is more active), but the problem appear sometime with only 1 recording.
The problem could appear during a nigth recording (no boby use MVP; MVP are on screensaver)
I read/search forum frequently, but I dont find anything to solve/explain the problem.
Thanks
Stf
