Newbie Question - No Live TV or Guide showing

Just downloaded the latest version of GBPVR and am having difficulty with the config. I have a Pinnacle 300i card which is supported and when I set this as the capture source is appears to accept it OK and with the EPG data I downloaded shows the channels OK . I click to update the EPG and everything appears OK . I go to startup GBPVR and it says no channels have been set up!!. What am I doing wrong ? If I click on Status from the tray icon is says the capture source is sleeping! Should it be and why is it? How do I wake it up?

There doesnt seem to be a step to scan for channels anywhere and this is confusing me . The card works fine with various other software so it must be something Im missing. Please help

It sounds like you didnt click the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button to do the channel scan and map each channel.

Oops.. thanks your right I have run the mapping now but it cant find any channels. I tried a few times with different settings but eaCh time the small preview screen is blank and it shows only a few channels found marked as Unknown which I cant preview. The card is found automatically when I select BDA Recording Plugin so it should be supported

I am able to use Showshifter on this box so cant see why GBPVR shouldnt pick up channels. I selected the correct

Thats normal. It'll only say something other than 'sleeping' when you're recording or watching live tv.

Zip and attach your config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
