Which Encoder?

I have a Theater 550 card with the built in mpeg2 encoder, but when GBPVR is recording it uses an unexpected amount of resources.

Does GBPVR use the internal encoder, or is the encoder wasted with this software?

It will be using the on board encoder, which should result in about 5% or less of CPU while recording.

If you're watching that recording though, then your PC will probably use significant amount of CPU while decoding.
