Hi

I finally got HVR-3000 to work in GBPVR. However the recordings are not useable. Sound is out of sync and video is skipping. I edited the graph to use MainConcept (MCE) MPEG Encoder instead of MainConcept (Hauppauge) MPEG Video Encoder and MainConcept (Hauppauge) MPEG Audio Encoder. That worked fine.

But how can I get this to work in GBPVR? Is there a way to edit direct.ini to get this working? I attach a copy of the working graph and hope someone please could take a look and hopefully find a solution.

Thanks
Thor E.

Unfortunately the analog side of the HVR3000 and HVR4000 work very poorly with GB-PVR. Usually GB-PVR would only work with analog cards with hardware encoders. I did spend a few hours trying to get these devices working for analog using software encoders, but only ever got poor results, so support for them was never completed. Sorry!

Hi.
Ok. I understand that, but have You tried the MCE Encoder that came with the card? I tried with Graphedit and it worked fine. It sure use a lot of CPU, but in this case the result will be fine. Is it possible to just edit direct.ini to get gbpvr to use this encoder instead?

Unfortunately you wont be able to change that with just tweaking direct.ini.

Ok. Thanks anyway. I just have to wait and see if it will be supported in the future.
