Minor Encoder Issue

Just installed .5 and it ran correctly immediately. Then I tried to test other encoders that are on my system. First tried the only one showing up in BDA Mux Checker, Intervideo Multiplexer. When trying to watch LiveTV all I had was frozen video with live audio; same with MPEG Video Encoder. Then I went back to the Cyberlink encoder and all is running fine.

My questions are why does only one encoder show in MuxChecker? Why does GBPVR only work with an encoder that does not show up in MuxChecker? :confused:

I am getting some minor tearing and would like to try the others to see if I can cure that. If I never get it fixed it is so minor as to be no big deal.

A mux and an encoder are two different things, so its a bit hard to follow you post.

If MuxChecker only lists the Intervideo mux, then chances are this is the only mux you have installed (other than the Microsoft DVR-MS mux, which is always present on Windows XP SP1 and higher). If you select to use the Cyberlink mux, but dont have it installed, then it'll use the DVR-MS mux.

If you do a recording, then zip and attach your GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log, then I'll tell you exactly what mux it was using.
