TV Guide Skipping Channels from EPG? Not recording.

There is one channel in my epg line up that will not load in its proper place in the tv guide. Nor will it record. It is channel three but it does not show up after 2 and before 3 as it should it shows up after ch98 when watching live tv. However ch3 shows up in its correct place if I use the tuning assistant. Any ideas? I will say that I have experimented with using different epg's; could that have fouled things up? I have tried repair program and that does not fix it.

What can I do?!?!

The channel numbers from the 'channels' tab of the config app dictates the order the shown in. The only exception is that channels with no listings are shown at the end.

The channels tab in the config shows channel 3 with the correct call letters but also has a channel 3 out of order with the wrong call letters. In the channels listing in capture devices, only the channel 3 with the wrong call letters is listed but in the correct order. t's very odd. Any suggestions?

They cant both be channel 3, so one probably gets pushed to the end of the list. Its likely the channel has been renamed some time in the past. You'd probably need to remove the channel with the old name to correct it.
