Hey guys, I've searched through the forums and seen bits and pieces.. but what I'm looking for is the easiest solution to dump recorded shows to DVD.

I tried ShowBurn, but it only takes files from the Video Library, so they'd need to be moved there first... and I wasn't able to get it to work (I can transcode files, but I never get have the option to start the burn).

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

You say it only takes from video library? Why don't you just add the recording directory to video library? I burn my shows to DVD using third part software (outside of gbpvr). First I cut the ads with videoredo, then use ulead DVD workshop to create DVD and menus, only takes a few minutes as the videos don't have to be reencoded, just demuxed, etc (DVD Software does it all).

Have you tried upgrading to version .99? I couldnt get showburner to work with .98 at all.
Now I have comcut setup in my postprocessing.bat so all of the comercials are removed before I start the burn.
All I have to do is hit the transcode button on a file, click add to dvd queue, then transcode again and burn to dvd. Thats it!

Just curious, do you check the commercial cut points before you they get cut out? I use ShowAnalyzer for commercial marking and always check the commercial cut points on shows I intend to archive. Although I find SA very, very good, it is not 100% accurate 100% of the time.

No I don't check to see if comcut cut out the recordings property. For me, Comskip is about 80-90% right. I figure that I can just ff through the few mistakes.
