Pause leaves black screen

I just updated to the newest version yesterday (99.05) and I noticed that when I pause video the screen goes completely black. In previous versions it would keep the video on screen. Is there any way to get this back?

haha, wow..even after I searched i didn't see that thread..and the worst part.....I'm pretty sure I've read it already before Sad

happened across it accidentally myself, it was an annoyance that i could live with and so didnt persue an answer!

Sub - Is there a 99.5 Survival guide? Is the above a worthy addition?
