This is an extremely nice addition in this latest release of GBPVR.

The rpoblems/features lacking:
1- Cannot automatically move downloaded/transcoded file to "MyVidoes" section
2- No support for Favorites/login ...etc.

I move the mpeg file VMR9.mpg manually to MyVideos, but when I played it back it is skipping forward badly and no-sound/bad-noisy sound.
It does that even in Windows Media Player.

I do not mind moving the file manaually for now and renaming it, but why playback is soo bad (as if someone is fast forwarding the video).

Is there a way to fix this?

(Note that after download the video plays back fine in YouTube inside GBPVR, it only skips when you try to re-play it back again).

Is this intentional from YouTube so you cannot have the downloaded version of the file?

Please help, as it gets boring to need to re-download the whole file again just to replay it back.

I cant think of any reason for that. GB-PVR downloads it as a flv video from the youtube site, then uses ffmpeg to convert it to an mpg file, then plays that mpg file. Subsequent playback attempts on that .mpg file should produce the same results.

Yes I know - sorry about that. It was a last minute addition before the last release and I didnt have much time to spend on it.

I do hope to improve it in future releases. I'll be honest - I havent started doing any improvements to it yet though. I'm not really sure which direction I should take this plugin. If people let me know how they'd prefer this plugin behave, I'll certain value the feedback.

I am having a different experience with this YouTube plugin.
I can only view about 2 out of 10 videos I try to download.
The plugin seems to function correctly when selecting a video.
It downloads the full video (most of the time it will download 100kb's per
second, but every now and then it will download a bit faster.)

After the download completes, most of the time the plugin just returns to
the list of videos from which to choose. About 2 out of 10 videos actually
continue to play. If I am lucky enough to have one play... there is a 50%
chance the video being played is not the video selected!
It will play the last successfully downloaded video!
Example:
video #1 / download / return to youtube menu
video #2 / download / return to youtube menu
video #3 / download / plays video :p
video #4 / download / return to youtube menu
video #5 / download / return to youtube menu
video #6 / download / plays video from try #3
video #6 again / download / return to youtube menu
video #6 AGAIN! / download / actually plays the correct video
video #7 / download / return to youtube menu
video #8 / download / return to youtube menu
video #9 / download / plays video
video #10 / download / plays video from try #9
...etc... Rolleyes

I love this YouTube feature... I just wish it worked for me
Any tips on how to resolve this issue?

No, not really. Its not really a feature I've spent much time testing, so its probably pretty buggy.

I've made a few minor improvements to it for the next release which hopefully will help.

Mine works about 75% of the time. 25% of the time it downloads and never starts playing. I do have a problem with stuttering and skipping on playback and often the file cannot be replayed with windows media player which doesn't make much sense.
