youtube and avi divx playback not working

Two problems:
1. youtube playback: clicking on the file does not do anything. The log shows the following-

In the case of the youtube one, did F:\Recordings\YouTube\6vqXXOrGu1k.mpg exist on disk after this attempt?

Can you provide the gbpvr.exe-native.log for both of these problems?

Htv: This is through the PC.
Sub: The youtube problem was a zero bit size file. Downloading again solved the problem. Re: the avi file.

Only thing I can see is that the two filenames are different, a space is added near the end of the filename:

It just looks like you're missing a dvix decoder on you machine.

Can you play this file in Windows Media Player?

The file didn't play in media player as well. This avi was generated by using the "transcode" functionality of GBPVR. I looked at the file size, and it seemed rather small (180MB from an original 2.3GB mpg) so thought it may have terminated early for some reason. Anyway, I tried "transcode" again and it generated a larger file (480MB) and it played successfully... good news! Now bad news... the original file is over two hours long, the transcoded file (Divx or xVid) is 54 minutes :-(. For some reason it just decided not to finish. I also noted a problem with the conversion in that the timeline (i.e. scene sequence) is all mixed up near the end. I'd be watching one scene, suddenly there'd be a lot of pixelation, then showing another scene (not in sequence), then some more pixelation, and showing some other scene (sometimes in sequence, sometime not. Weird behaviour which I can't figure out!

GB-PVR uses ffmpg to do these conversions. Its sounds like ffmpeg isnt liking something about the file. You could try running ffmpeg manually using the command line shown in the logs to see if it spits out any useful error messages.

Was there a resolution? My youtube is doing the same thing, downloads the file then no play.
