Another update

rescaned today and found all the channels my cars software did, must have been the bad weather

Adrian - you mentioned in an earlier post that your card's software found 23 channels - is that the number of channels you got with GB-PVR?

If so then you're still missing maybe 10-12 channels depending on where you live (assuming you're in the UK). If that's the case - you might want to check all of your coax cables are good.

Yes i'm missing all BBC channels, I think i need a beter ariel

Make sure your cables are good first. I didn't expect that a dodgy cable could effect some transmitter MUXs and not others until I fitted a Freeview box for my mother-in-law just before/after Christmas (can't remember when).

The box only picked up channels for 2 or 3 of the 6 MUXs. Simply changing the coax cable from her aerial wall socket to the box fixed the problem.

Could still be an aerial problem but coax cables are a cheaper option to look at first.
