XVID capture + Ad Detection

I know these two are long shots, capturing straight to xvid, and ad detection, but according to mythtv it is able to do it, so it might be possible with gb-pvr. have no idea how they detect ads, might be with digital tv or something, who knows.

also would love a simple editing solution to remove adds etc from files.

not sure if this one is implemented (still havent got my capture card yet) but can you watch the begining of a recording whilst it is still being recorded?

Also widescreen support for menus and all, oh maybe hidef output (1080i)

i know its asking a lot, but thats why they call it a wishlist right?

Commercial Detection would be one of the best things for GB-PVR if a good a plugin is developed.
