320 x 240?
Why not use 720x480?
what bit rate are you using also?

You're not going to get any great quality scaling 320x240 up to 720x480.

Or something. I might try turning off Intervideo's built in deinterlacing and just let the Catalyst driver do the deinterlacing.

Hauppauge's NonCSS coded controls are DXVA and HWMC under IviSKDHauppauge right next to Intervideo/Common that I pointed to earlier. I use the VMR9 Fullscreen Exclusive and I'm not sure if that option breaks the built in bob deinterlacing of the codec.
