screen black on adverts

Hello all -

My screen goes black when adverts come on. Picture doesnt re-appear; I have to come out of the channel and go back into it for it to work again.

Any suggestions?

What country are you in, and what capture device are you using?

I'm wondering if this is related to a "problem" (it's not annoying enough for me to having looked into it) I have, and that is that I cannot go closer than say 2 minutes to the end of a currently recording program. My screen goes black and playback stops. It seems to be somewhat non-responsive, but after a few backward skips it's ok again (as long as I don't get close to the end of the file again). I use nvidia purevideo codec, by the way.

Do you have auto-skip on commercials? Is the problem during currently-recording shows or also on shows that are finished?
