DVD - No Audio

Just an update:

I downloaded the AC3 filter codec and all has been fine since. Thanks for the help everyone.

Would someone mind sharing what settings they use for AC3? I'm trying to get my system working after a HD crash.

When I play a DVD AC3 says the input is MPEG - and it shows the PDIF is checked but says (disabled). I'm guessing there is something on my sound card not set right, but I've checked it and it seems ok (see sig for model).

The sound card has basically has these options for SPDIF:
Dolby Digital Live (I don't want it to use this for DVD, obviously)
44k
48k
96k
SPDIF Loopback

Not sure these settings even matter for passthrough, but I've tried most of them.
