Is there any requirement to have GBPVR GUI closed when a scheduled recording starts, or other similar requirements?

I just got back from a 2 week vacation, and GBPVR had worked perfectly, recording everything it was supposed to. But then last night, while I was active on my computer in GBPVR, it messed up again, missing recording House, while doing fine with another program at the same time.

This kind of thing happens regularly but intermittent, and it seems to be related to activity or state of the computer at the time of recording.. Are there any known issues in this regard?

I don't know what the issue is but ironically I missed House last night too because of a recording service failure. (I'm gonna see if I can cause it again)

No, there is no requirement like that.

In you logs it looks like it started the recording, but the device never started producing data (no signal lock?), then after 30 seconds decided it should try restarting the recording to see if it could fix things. I cant really tell what happened after that.

Was a file created called D:\Video\House\House_20070501_21002200.dvr-ms? If so, how big is it?
