Need a little help here. A great poker night landed me the money to finally grab the Harmony Remote Ive been wanting. Got the 720 (exclusive to Costco...the square version of the 880). Spent the better part of 4 hours programming keys and troubleshooting.
My problem is the response. It is fine with the Dig Cable receiver and TV, but is sloooooow and sometimes double hits certain keys (up, down, and skip forward/backward are the worst offenders)
Originally I used a Cyberlink remote with Girder 3.3 with no issue whatsoever, all keys mapped. There is zero delay and will process requests as quickly as i can press a button. I used that remote as the learning remote for the Harmony. I have tried everything but cant get the lag to go away. I have changed the interkey delay to 0 and have also changed the repeater number to 0. i cant think of anything id be missing. Any suggestions?
Also, Id like to know how the rest of you are interfacing your remotes to your HTPC. I have an MCE remote and base that i could use to try to reprogram the remote and use as the base but that would have to wait for the weekend. All your info i'm sure would help. Thanks.
