EPG Update Without Network Connection

I just lost the ethernet adapter on my motherboard due to a lightning strike. I'm getting a usb ethernet adapter, but I've got several days before it will arrive. Is there a way to reload the EPG without a network connection? I use Zap2It for the EPG, still have internet access from another computer and can transfer files with a jumpdrive or a CD.

well, you could use i-xmltv on your internet connected pc, and then transfer the xmltv.xml file to your machine, and change the epg to xmltv using that file.

I believe this was discussed in another thread. Try doing a search and I believe you should find it. (xmltv is needed)
