I have been taking the programs I record with my PVR-150 and transferring the files over to my main PC. I then edit out the commercials with Premiere and burn them to DVD.

Everything looks great on my computer but when I go to play the DVD's on a DVD player it becomes jerky. I have tried using different programs to make the DVD's and also lowering the bit rate.

I currently record on my HTPC with the GBPVR settings on high.

Can anyone offer help with this issue?

Check the following:
Is it jerky on the main pc (source file)
Is it jerky after you edit out the commercials
Is it jerky in premier.

That will narrow down the problem area. My bet is its during the editing of the commercials.

The source file plays fine and the DVD plays fine on a computer. It is also not jerky in Premiere.

I took the source file and used another program to burn it to DVD without editing out the commercials and it plays beautifully.

My guess is that I need to experiment with the output or DVD settings in Premiere.
