Crawling text over video

It would be neat to have "stock ticker" information crawl probably at the bottom of your screen while watching to give you information taken from the internet, like stock, news, rss feeds, mail info, weather, etc., of course at your convenience with the push of a button

Sorry, I'm not actually fan of tickers, and it wouldnt be possible with slow devices like the MVP, PVR350 etc (where I can only do a couple of frames a second).

Nothing to stop any other developers making plugins for this type of stuff, though probably only for use on the PC..

That would be a better plugin (maybe base off RSS Reader as a video overlay?)
