Sub,
I've noticed when I have chosen a program to record from the TV guide and then later chosen to cancel that program before its time, it still tries to record.

I have my computer set up in Hibernation mode so when a program is scheduled to record my computer just boots up and starts recording then shuts down 15 minutes after it has finished.

The issues is, when I cancel a program even days before it's time the computer will still boot up as scheduled. It won't recorded anything but it will stay on for the time allocated for the record then shut down. Strange but true. Have you heard of this happen before and is there a fix? It just started after the upgrade to 0.99.12

I am currently running Version 0.99.12

Thanks
Orbital

My configuration:
GB-PVR: Version 1.0.8
CPU: AMD Athlon 2800+ Barton
RAM: 1 Gig Kingston (DDR)
Video Card: Geforce FX 5200 (128 DDR)
TV Tuner: SAPPHIRE Theater 550 PRO
HD: Two Maxtor 80 Gig (7200 RPM)

Sorry, I'm aware of this. Its always done this - right since the very first release of GB-PVR. GB-PVR never cancels the wake up request with Windows.

You're one of about three people to ever notice over the last few years, so its not huge concern for me. Maybe I'll fix it in a future release though.

Sub....
Thanks for getting back to me on this issue. It's not that big of a deal really. As you said, only 3 people have noticed it. I wasn't aware that this was an issue since the 1st version of GB-PVR. I've never really noticed it because I normally let a program record once I've scheduled it.

Well, I'm glad to know it's not my system doing something strange with your program.

Thanks again....
