run when standby/wakeup??

how do you guys get thinks to run when the PC resumes from or goes to standby.
I have found a couple programs that claim to do it, but none seem reliable.

I don't seem to have problems but I am curious as to exactly what you've found that works for you. Care to share?

if I let my system go to standby while GBPVR is running (worse with PVRX2), it will be very unstable when it wakes up (if it wakes up).
I was looking for something to close GBPVR before going to standby, and start it back up upon awakening.
the scheduler in HIP has this option, and so far seems to work.
