1.0.16 - No QAM and No Nvidia Decoder

After upgrading to 1.0.16 I can no longer receive QAM channels. Analog works fine. Also, even though I have selected the NVIDIA decoder for playback it does not start on analog or QAM channels.

If you get your HD from a HDHomeRun, your QAM problem is probably because your BDA.INI file got overwritten on upgrade and thus the settings for it are gone. At least, that's what happened to me.

Does enabling live preview mode work for watching live tv?

I have the HVR-1600...Sub you are on to something. Now the NVIDIA decoder starts but I get no signal on the QAM channels. I have downloaded and installed the patch from the survival guide to no avail.

PS, The buffer directory does exist.

Can you try running the Hauppauge WinTV app to confirm you can view these channels? Another user had similar behaviour, but quickly realised his cable company had switched his clear-QAM channels into encrypted channels.

Checked and I still get them in the WINTV app.
