EPG display name vs channel

Hi I am trying to use various XMLTV EPGs.
I have a display name that differs from the channel for example
display name is 7 KTBCDT and the channel ID is 7
the XML file has many entries for channel id 7 but when I update the EPG (in config) the logs says that 0 entries were found. (and of course the program guide is blank except for the station names)

In config channels tab it shows
channel name 7 KTBCDT
channel 7

It appears that the channel name and channel id must be the same.

What am I doing wrong?

the problem is that you have two channel 18s. If they are actually different channels use the remapper to change one of the channel 18 numbers to something other than 18. That will fix this problem. The line that told me this is:

XMLTV: error reading xml: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: '0018' Key being added: '0018'

Thanks for seeing that. I am sorry I failed to look closely.

Now I have another problem. I mapped the second channel 18 to channel 19 and all looks good but I only get listings for the first channel. I have attached a zip of the xml, the ini and the log. Can you look at it?

Your xml file is not actually remapped. I'm not quite sure why because I loaded your ini up in my program and it made a remapped one. Try to run it again then open the xml file, make sure the initial section looks like this:

</channel>

Dan, I ran the program again this morning and it seems to work very well. It ran on schedule last night but again only one channel was found. I did check the mapping and that was correct.

Some of my tests were run by clicking
"Download and Parse Listings"
but this morning I clicked
"Update EPG"
are these different?

I will keep and eye on this. Maybe yahoo had a problem.

Those are the exact same thing. I would get version 1.2.5 and make sure the settings are all correct before tonight. You could be one of the few people who were affected by a Yahoo bug that got fixed between 1.2.3 adn 1.2.5.
