Which plugin do you use to control your LCD/VFD Display?

Which plugin do you use to interface your display with GBPVR?

If you use any of the above plugins, what is not being displayed from GBPVR that you would like to see available?

Do you use display the system stat's like CPU utilisation, temperatures, fan speeds, network traffic etc, or do you just focus on HTPC information related to whatever GBPVR is doing, and perhaps disk usage.

Copying a post I made elsewhere, I use LCDSmartie (and its ability to display the content of text files):

1. Using the iMONVFD plugin (by skate15e) shows what is playing (Video, Music).

2. Using the GBPVRCli utility (by Mister Slimm) I also display:
- Current in-progress recordings (name & when finishes) for each tuner card.
- The next 2 pending recordings (name & day/time)
- Disk space available & Temps via speedfan

I use LCDSmartie 5.3.2 with support for the iMON VFD via the iMonSmartie dll (not the latest 5.4 with built-in IMON support), I can display the name & date/time of the next recording on the VFD when the system is in standby (so I know when it is next going to wake up).

i just use recordingstatus.bat to spit out a text file that i read with smartie..
mirrors what is on the tray app only...

wish there were a better alternative for other lcd's for the new version of gbpvr..

if the imon plugin worked with smartie it would open up a lot of other display types without too much extra coding...[or even just output a text file or some other such external comm method]

How exactly are you doing this? (ie, are there settings in smartie which would allow me to do this?)
