Does anyone know how or if it is possible to have GBPVR automatically start time shifting (i.e. recording the show in the background) as soon as live tv is started for a particular channel? Right now, I have to press the pause button to start the timeshifting as soon as live tv starts up in order to be able to ever rewind during the show.

As a recent convert from YGTV where his feature was built in, I found this feature really useful.

Thanks.

Change this setting in gbpvr-config-misc:
"use live preview mode if possible" . That should do it.

I have this option checked right now and I do not get automatic time-shifting. Should this option be unchecked? Any other ideas?

Thanks for your help. I will uncheck this option when I get home this evening and give it a try. I have been over and over all of the options in config on the wiki, but I somehow missed that one.

Have a great day.
