Hello all,
I currently have a Pundit-r which includes the ATX 9100 IGP chipset for video.
It's been working for over a year now, but I've tended to use the video out on my PVR350 (which is stable as a rock on my system and superb quality!)

I want to switch to a DVB-S card (probably a Nova-S-Plus for the DisqC) and retire my Sky UK satellite receiver, just keeping the free channels.
I'm hesitating between just putting in the new card and staying on my old GBPVR version (0.97.7) or going the whole hog and upgrading to 1.016, switching to the integrated video out in the process. (I could get the 9100 to work with no stuttering and tearing after a struggle).

What I'd like to know is whether anyone has 1.016 running on a Pundit-r? In particular:-
1) Is it powerful enough to run PVRX2 smoothly?
2) Are there any issues around the Pundit-R not being fully Direct x 9 compatible (although it does run VMR9)
3) Have you managed to get mpeg acceleration of the ATI9100 to work and if so, with which version of the Catalyst drivers and with which codec?
Current system has a 2.4GHz Celeron with 512MB memory
Thanks a lot for any help

I'm using PVRX2 1.016 on a Pundit-R, haven't had any bad issues so far.
I use the standard blue skin with a few extra plugins (Weather, MusicPlayer2 etc.). I also have an MVP and 2 "client" PCs that attach to it each with PVRX2.
Don't know about question 3 and sorry but I don't really want to mess around with my setup to find out just in case.
I have a P4 1.8GHz with 1GB memory installed. If you do need to upgrade any part I would suggest extra memory.
I use MpgMux_5.0.0.1307_.ax cyberlink and can't remember which Catalyst but I haven't update it in more than a year.
