When I first set up my client PC, it would not run VMR9, just kept saying "your system does not appear to support"
Then randomly it started working with VMR9. Recently the PC has gone back to the old ways, and I can only use overlay.
Is there any reason why my system would not support VMR9?
The client is a 1.6 Ghz Athlon, 256MB ram, Radeon 9250 128MB card, Win XP pro.
I can't understand why it would randomly working, and then stop again. I tried to update the Radeon drivers to the latest, and this did not help - except for breaking my support for Overlay, so had to go back to the old drivers.
Could it have anything to d with only having directx 9.0b installed? When I try to update to 9.0c it goes through and instantly says all files are installed, but the version info does not change.
Thanks
