Unfortunately I dont think so, though I should be able to remove this limitation in the next release without too much work.

Awesome, if's it not a trouble just means I don't have to install gbpvr on this work laptop.

have you tried overlay mode? probably still uses d3d for menus tho..
and shouldn't software mode 3d be available even on those cards?

Yeah I did try the overlay, just never get a screen update (shows the windows background and the window border).
