Hi,
is there something special with this combination? I just moved the card from my old Windows XP machine to the new one running Vista.
Vista automatically installed drivers 1.18.21.23257 and insists on them beeing optimal. Do I have to install the complete Hauppauge software? WindowsMCE regognized the new tuner card and was able to record and do live tv.
But I would prefer using GB-PVR. I configured the card the same way as I did on the XP machine, but to no avail: Live tv is allways a blank screen. Recordings are defective .mpg files.
The tuning assistent finds all channels after complaining about not beeing able to connect the audio pins - I've already heard that that is normal.
Basically GB-PVR does work on the Vista machine: There is built in card (AverMedia M779) and I managed to configure it to work with GB-PVR.
thanks in advance for any help!
