You can actually do that with the Zap2It service. zap2xml only downloads channels listed as your favorite channels on the service.

For example, in a dual tuner setup I have, I have a digital cable box (one source) and analog channels on the other.

I have HBO on analog (channel 6) and on digital (channel 300). GB-PVR was tripping all over that because it saw those two channels as the "same". Removing channel 6 from my listing fixed it right up.

It's important to remember too that zap2xml isn't all that smart about its cache directory when you make a change on the website. It's best to toss that cache directory before your next update. It'll be re-created with fresh data.

The zap2mxl fellow is EXTREMELY responsive if you email him. I had a feature request to toggle the channel formats to list with or without the channel number in the name - he updated his perl script in less than 24 with a new option for it.

It seems as though multiple issues conspired against me, that being one of them. The mystery channel that was showing up twice was removed from my line up, I guess sometime recently, if not this week. The cache still had it, zap had it in my favs, upon a refresh of my favs, it didn't show up in there anymore.

After a complete epg clear and reload though, all of the channels were mixed up. Survivor was set to record on channel 3 and instead I channel 41 disney and more of the like. So I punted back to 99.12, new DB, and now everything is good! Well, we'll see after tonights epg update. Wink

smajor, what version of GBPVR are you using?
