live tv with pvr 250 or 350 going to mvp

If I am running a pvr250 or 350 or any other tuner card for that matter.

Is it possible to send the live tv feed to the mvp

or can the mvp only show recordings done previously ?

Yes, the livetv feed also works with the MVP.
