XMLTV grabber from UpdateEPG.bat?

If you call XmltvGUI.exe from UpdateEPG.bat you still have to click on the "Grab Listings" button with the mouse or nothing will happen. Anyone know any ways round this?

There's a xmltv.exe aswell. XmltvGUI.exe is a Graphical User Interface for the xmltv application. Afaik you can find it on sourceforge.

I use that program too and it's really good. Just run the file XmltvConsole.exe in the xbltvgui directory and it' updates. If you have the line below in your updateepg.bat file it will be hidden at the bottom of the screen and GB-PVR will wait for it to update before continuing:-

start "XMLTV Update" /belownormal /min /wait "C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\XmltvConsole.exe"

alternatively add a windows scheduled task

If you have loaded xmltv to the default location it is

"C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\XmltvGUI.exe" /grab

Don't forget to put the /grab outside the quotes

then schedule the task for about five minutes before the epg update time
