Crash during channel scan.

Hi,

I have just moved my Hauppauge NovaT 500, which was previously working with no problems, into a new pc. When I scan for channels the application always crashes at the same point.

I've tried the scan specifically for my region as well as the 'all regions' scan and in both cases it finds channels (BBC 1, 2, 3 & News 24), and then moves onto the next transponder and stops responding, although this is not the same transponder in the two different scans.

I get the same problem with version 10105 & 10016.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Turned out to be a problem with the video decoder not being set up properly.

In case anyone else finds themselves here... Just did a rescan while fixing the XMLTV mess and found it was very broken.

My problem turned out to be uLead Videostudio 9. No idea why but uninstalled it and I'm working again.
