Scene It DVD No Controls

The wife got the Disney Scene It game which uses a DVD to play the game. However when I tried to run it in GBPVR I have no controls. I put in the DVD, it starts playing and I get to a menu. However neither the remote control or the keyboard can move on the menu or select. I can play other DVD's fine with no issue. The Scene It DVD can use "optreve" technology to shuffle, but doesn't require it. The only way i can get the DVD to work is to exit GBPVR and use Windows Media Player with the mouse. I would attach log files but not sure it will help. I see the light blink on the IR sensor, so it is getting the signal.

Any thoughts? Anyone else used any of the Scene It games on GBPVR?

I know this post is old but I just had this problem, with the seinfeld one. can't move the menu?
I tried WMP but it said there was a problem with the encryption, and I needed to update vid. card driver, did that with no change, but WMP is acting up lately, wont play netflix either.
