It takes 10 seconds to change the channel each time, its very slow, i was wondering how i can speed this up. i have DVB-T card: Pinnacle 3010iX.

Also when changing the channel with CH+ and CH- it takes 10 seconds to jump through each channel, so is it possible to make the buttons skip through the guide and show whats on right now on each channel like a sky box or mediaportal does and then when i press ok it switches to the channel?

Also i would like to map the green flag button on the mce remote with eventghost (or other app) to take me to the epg whenever its pressed, and then a button to go directly to watching the selected channel, without the need to: press ok, go down the list and pick watch.

Can i assign gbpvr suspend to the mce remote button too? so that it'd be the same as using suspend from the system menu? so that gbpvr knows its about to suspend and can put up a screen saying recording, and make it turn the lcd off?

Where is the shortcut key editor?

I'm surprised its so slow changing channels. Normally it'd take about a second to change channels on DVB-T device. Maybe double check you have live preview mode enable.

When you're watching tv you can press Ctrl-G (Green key on remote) to bring up the mini guide, and press up/down to see what is on the channels, then ok to change to that channel.

There is no shortcut key editor. If the built-in key handling doesnt suit your needs, then you can look at external solutions like HIP or EventGhost etc.

When you go into the tv guide (F1 from all screens) you can hit play on a channel to go straight to livetv without hitting enter etc.

Ctrl-G does not do anything, i am using the slick skin in 1.3.7, is it broken in any way?

Also, live preview is enabled and it does take 10seconds to change which is very strange.

And how do i tell gbpvr to shutdown? what command can i use from within EventGhost?

I didnt specifically test this with the slick skin, and havnt seen any other reports of it not working, so I'd assume it should be working. Maybe temporarily try it with the blue skin to see if it works.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look why its taking so long.

I dont use EventGhost so dont really know anything about it, but it probably has some way to tell windows to shutdown.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the pinnacle provided software speeded up the changes to a 1-2 maybe 3 seconds. One thing i also did was install drivers for the Nova-T PCI card, the card cannot be used, does't initialise or will initialise and scan without getting a signal. Its no real problem. If anyone does have drivers for the 909 PCI Nova-T DVB-T card then please give me a link.

WTF is going on, its like the system has a mind of its own, the slick skin's Ctrl+G is working fine, everything seems to function as it should, i'm completely confused, whatever was wrong is now fixed, my guess: codecs (since i installed pinnacle software, then klite then removed klite)

Thanks for all the help, will work on this
