how long does a recording stay as new?

I've got recordings up to 4 days old that are staying as new...how long are they supposed to stay there? Oh yeah, I'm using the default recordings plugin.

I'm quite sure it is one week.

The default is seven days but it can be tweaked using the following setting in config.xml:

<WhatsNewDayCount>7</WhatsNewDayCount>

Thanks...I just figured out why I was so confused. I used to use Video Archive and I think I set the number of days to one in VA, which I presume changed the value mentioned above.
