I have a dvb-s card and a multidec compliant softcam setup and working, I can view all fta and encrypted channels in gbpvr. The problem comes when you try to pause or record livetv on an encrypted channel. From what I can tell the recording service attempts to start another instance of the multidec softcam instead of using the the one that is already running. This function works perfectly on fta channels.

They should be two difference instances. One is used for live tv in the GBPVR.exe or PVRX2.exe process. The other is in GBPVRRecordingService.exe.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll see if I can see anything.

The logs look ok, but two things to note.

- Does the c:\temp directory exist?
- The TS Mux option cant be used for live tv. You need to be using the Cyberlink/ATI/DVR-MS muxes for this.

To be honest, I'm not really sure.
