I have been setting my media centre up and playing around with various options, full screen exclusive mode seems to give me the best video quality but I have an annoying problem with it.
I call PVRx2 from the startup location, obviously so it starts when the system boots etc. As the system boots it will briefly appear as normal, and then vanish, like something has stolen focus and put it in the background. Nothing will bring it back then, only CTRL - ALT - DEL and kill PVRx2, then run it again and its perfect.
Just this startup issue bugging me, if I use start GBPVR, the modified one for PVRx2 it will work, unfortunately having this running seems to prevent the system from hibernating properly. So I would like to just call PVRx2 at startup.
Anyone else seen this, and know of a solution. I have tried a few updates of the PVRx2 exe from here mentioning this behaviour, mentioning resume from hibernate but nothing seems to work.
Running the system on MSI K9AGM2, 2gb RAM, XP SP2.
Cracking bit of software though, my first attempt at a media system and well impressed by it.
