missing program guide (but recordings are still pending)

i restarted my PC today after a week or so of the last restart and when it came back up the guide was missing from the interface (gbpvr) - its completely empty. the recordings are still pending and are floating in empty space when scrolling through the guide - looking kinda funny
the guide search doesnt work anymore except for the scheduled recordings.
i restart the service everytime the PC comes out of standby (before a recording) so it's strange that this is happening after a PC restart.
any ideas? using 0.99.12

It probably means the last EPG update failed for some reason. Try doing an 'Update EPG'.

Do it again (from the config app 'update epg' button), then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

i assume you wanted me to hit the update epg from the tuner setup in the config screen. i did that and zipped the log. hope you can get some info. just noticed that a program scheduled in 2 hours disappeared from the pending recording queue but those for tomorrow are still there. no EPG though.

You xmltv file is incorrectly formed and has some duplicate channel identifiers.

yeah just noticed that error too. i guess i'll have to dig into the zap2it scraper and see what's wrong with it

EDIT: crap! zap2it did smth funky with the channel numbers for over the air instead of 2.1 there's the real UHF frequency (33).

well i've updated the zap2it scraper and it now works. however i had to redo all channel mappings, empty epg and reschedule everything and probably update my conversion scripts with new channel numbers. hopefully no more problems anytime soon :p
