Update reoccurring recording hangs

Have you tried the 'remote unreferenced channels' button in the config app? If they dont delete, then they're still referenced by something.

that's what was strange - what would they be referenced by if the recording service is stopped and there are no capture sources defined? all channels bar the four involved with recurring recordings were auto removed when the capture sources were removed..

anyways, i've un/re-installed 1.1.5 and am setting back up.

will post if my clean installation has issues with the recurring recordings update....

I realised that I hadn;t fixed every show....not enough testing.
I had a look at the db in sqlite database browser and the problematic season/reoccurring recordings are missing the programme_oid in recordings_schedule.

Looking at the XML export, I can see that these broken entries do not have a title or uid attribute. example:

I only have a couple of broken season recordings so I will just recreate them.

i can update fine after fresh install and recreating (instead of copying gbpvr.db3 from original install)
