EVR aspect ratio

the zoom worked for me but then f7 doesnt
evr seems to have to many quirks in xp

EVR was never really intended for use on XP. To be honest, i'm surprised that MS even made it available for XP.

i think they did because they knew it wouldnt work properly Smile

so it would make you think you needed vista my conspiracy theory
but now ill get 10 people telling me vista is great

For me, EVR looks nice but: channel to channel for regular TV recordings, sometimes the closed caption? noise at the top of the screen shows up, and playing DVDs is not good, video stretched long and thin and no F7 changes work. And this on a 16:9 TV.

I haven't messed around with custom aspects much since the biggest problems need negative ratios in one way or another and that I have read repeatedly is not possible.

And this is XP. It would be fun if there were a fix.

I had the same problem and spent many hours trying to work around it.

I discovered there was a service pack for 3.0 and applied it and the problem went away. I used the Windows Update to download it. I think it can also be found below.
